Since its launching in 1999, Dar Al-Hekma University has earned a well-deserved legacy of graduating talented women who have become influential leaders and visionary entrepreneurs, driving positive change within their respective fields and contributing to the progress of Saudi Vision 2030.
Aligned with its mission to graduate future leaders and researchers, Dar Al-Hekma University has established the Division of Graduate Studies, Research, and Business. The division stands as a primary pillar, supporting scientific research and offering postgraduate studies to drive positive societal change.
The Graduate Studies, Research, and Business division is dedicated to enhancing a research environment that supports the development of innovative solutions to various challenges. It also aims to foster local and international collaborations with relevant organizations through its five departments, which we will explore in more detail below.
Scientific Research Center
The Scientific Research Center was established in 2012 to empower researchers by offering workshops and lectures on research methods presented by fellow scholars. These workshops equip researchers with the critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities necessary for conducting authentic scientific research. In addition to hosting seminars, research forums, and scientific conferences, the Scientific Research Center provides extensive support to researchers through its two research committees, the University Research Committee and the Research Ethics Committee (National Committee of Bioethics).
